Returns are authorized for unworn Products with all tags and labels attached.
Where a Product is pre-authorized for return, you can return to NuttyBuddy, Inc. Please contact us with your order number to request a return by mail.
Returns / Exchanges must be made within 30 days of delivery
Upon delivery, you accept sole responsibility for your orders.
All items must be unworn, unwashed, with hang tags attached and in original packaging.
IF the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.) we’ll cover the return shipping for packages being shipped from the lower 48 states. You'll get a prepaid label from our Support Team by email once you contact us.
If the return is a customer error, the customer will pay freight for the return of the product. If it is an exchange of a product of the same value (customer ordered wrong size or product), customer will pay for freight for the return of the product. Customer will receive a refund for product only and will need to place a new order on our site for the exchange. Shipping fee not refundable.

Unauthorized Returns and Worn Garments
Refunds or exchanges will not be issued for unauthorized returns. To avoid this, please contact us to confirm your return is authorized before sending anything back or attempting to return an item in-store.
If we receive a worn garment or any other return that has not been authorized, your return/exchange will not be processed nor will your used product or unauthorized return be returned to you.
Why Three Pieces? The NuttyBuddy system features a uniquely curved cup for anatomical fit, worn with an outer jock strap and snug shorts for optimal comfort and protection. My team has white pants. Does the NuttyBuddy system come in white? We don’t offer white cups, shorts or jocks, as black is less prone to staining and wear. Black performs just as well and it’s extremely rare that it shows through your white or gray pants. But if you’re not satisfied within 30 days, we’ll issue a full refund - so you have nothing to lose by trying it out.
How do you choose the best fit? Choose cup size based on height to ensure pelvic protection. If too big, it may rub uncomfortably. For jocks and shorts, use waist size, with jocks sometimes one size larger for comfort. Consider weight and body shape for best fit, ensuring the cup stays snug but comfortable.
Does Junk Size Matter when choosing a cup? No, cup size is based on height, not junk size. For instance, a 6'9" person needs our largest cup, the Mongo. Shorts and jocks should be chosen by waist size, which is true to size. If the system doesn’t fit, we offer exchanges or refunds within 30 days.
My son doesn’t want to wear a jock. What should I do? Educate him on the importance of proper protection. Though jocks may seem uncool, our system offers superior comfort and protection. Once he gets used to it, he’ll likely find it comfortable. If he’s not satisfied within 30 days, we’ll provide a refund.
Why do the shorts cost so much? Our shorts are high-quality, made in Toronto from custom fabrics, and feature patented technology. They’re built for maximum protection, not mass-market pricing. Do the Lock Shorts have a pouch for the cup? Nope—and that’s intentional. Our cup system is designed to work with three separate pieces. The shorts are your base layer, the jock goes over the shorts, and the cup slides securely between the two. It’s what makes NuttyBuddy work better than anything else.
Can I wear an NB cup in a pouch? No, our cup should NOT be used with pouches. Pouches don’t hold the cup securely, risking injury. Our system, worn as intended, keeps the cup snug and moves with your body. The professional setup provides the best protection and comfort, as endorsed by our trademarked “Wear It Like A Pro®”.

Why does NuttyBuddy require a jock strap? The jock strap holds the cup securely outside the shorts for optimal protection and comfort. Unlike pouches, it keeps the cup snug and in place. Our jock features a unique design with a 2-inch support band and patented gusset for added stability and safety.

My son can barely tell it’s there! Love that it doesn’t distract him from the game and according to him, he doesn’t even know it’s there. I will say, fitting him for the right size was weird because he is in the weight range for a larger size but he has a very small waist. We ended up using his height to pick the size and that worked out great!
USPS lost my package but Nutty Buddy was on it, they got the order replaced and I got it in a snap! My Son has been using his Nutty Buddy ever since and never once complains about fit or comfortability. I see the other boys always adjusting in the field during practices and games, but not my kid! Once he sets it, he forgets it. I’ve seen a definite change in his ball confidence now that he knows his own are safe. Definitely recommend 10/10
First day wearing this i tested it out as i got tripped mid game and took the right goal post to the boys…..! Didn’t feel a thing and i am sure that had i been wearing another shot glass (small azz cup) id be in the hospital having one or both repaired or removed….
Umpire backfield MLB and NCAA for over 14 years. Been hit several times and NO PAIN. Even in the vulnerable spot when the ball comes up underneath the cup (ricochet off ground). Jock, cup, compression shorts = gold-standard for protection. Won't wear anything else.
It didn’t fit right on me and I couldn’t ever get comfortable. With that being said the team at NB took very good care of me and I don’t have anything bad to say.

My son says it’s the most comfortable cup for him (as a 15 y/o catcher) but it only lasted 3 months and the rubber peeled off. Very disappointing!
I purchased my 13-year-old son the NuttyBuddy® Athletic Cups, NO POUCH Lock™ Core Compression Shorts, The NuttyBuddy® Jock. I did have to exchange the athletic cup for a different size. The exchange was flawless. The customer service is impeccable. My son really feels comfortable wearing this. He’s a catcher and I’m glad that he’s well protected.
