If you're not satisfied for any reason with your first purchase of NuttyBuddy® athletic cup (Classic or Flex), compression shorts, jock, shirts and hats, we’ll make it right by issuing a refund or allowing you to exchange the product. Just Contact Us with your order number or receipt and confirm whether you'd like a refund for the product or an exchange to get something more comfortable.

Only applies to your first unworn product [of each type], per customer. All requests must be made within 30 days of delivery. If you choose to replace a NuttyBuddy® product, we will ship the item to you free of charge. For all other returns and exchanges, please see our standard return policy below.

Returns are authorized for unworn Products with all tags and labels attached.

Where a Product is pre-authorized for return, you can return to NuttyBuddy, Inc. Please contact us with your order number to request a return by mail. Returns / Exchanges must be made within 30 days of delivery Upon delivery, you accept sole responsibility for your orders. All items must be unworn, unwashed, with hang tags attached and in original packaging. IF the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.) we’ll cover the return shipping for packages being shipped from the lower 48 states. You'll get a prepaid label from our Support Team by email once you contact us. If the return is a customer error, the customer will pay freight for the return of the product. If it is an exchange of a product of the same value (customer ordered wrong size or product), customer will pay for freight for the return of the product. Customer will receive a refund for product only and will need to place a new order on our site for the exchange. Shipping fee not refundable. IF THE VALUE OF THE PURCHASE MEETS OR EXCEEDS OUR FREE SHIPPING THRESHOLD, THE SHIPMENT BACK TO THE CUSTOMER IS AT NO CHARGE.

Once your item(s) reach our warehouse, your refund or exchange for the product purchased will be processed within 10 business days. Gift cards are nonrefundable and cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash. We can only process returns and exchanges for items purchased directly from NuttyBuddy.com. If you purchase our product from another site, please contact them directly for a return or exchange.

Unauthorized Returns and Worn Garments

Refunds or exchanges will not be issued for unauthorized returns. To avoid this, please contact us to confirm your return is authorized before sending anything back or attempting to return an item in-store.

If we receive a worn garment or any other return that has not been authorized, your return/exchange will not be processed nor will your used product or unauthorized return be returned to you.

Why Three Pieces?
The NuttyBuddy system features a uniquely curved cup for anatomical fit, worn with an outer jock strap and snug shorts for optimal comfort and protection. My team has white pants. Does the NuttyBuddy system come in white?
We don’t offer white cups, shorts or jocks, as black is less prone to staining and wear. Black performs just as well and it’s extremely rare that it shows through your white or gray pants. But if you’re not satisfied within 30 days, we’ll issue a full refund - so you have nothing to lose by trying it out.

How do you choose the best fit?
Choose cup size based on height to ensure pelvic protection. If too big, it may rub uncomfortably. For jocks and shorts, use waist size, with jocks sometimes one size larger for comfort. Consider weight and body shape for best fit, ensuring the cup stays snug but comfortable.

Does Junk Size Matter when choosing a cup?
No, cup size is based on height, not junk size. For instance, a 6'9" person needs our largest cup, the Mongo. Shorts and jocks should be chosen by waist size, which is true to size. If the system doesn’t fit, we offer exchanges or refunds within 30 days.

My son doesn’t want to wear a jock. What should I do?
Educate him on the importance of proper protection. Though jocks may seem uncool, our system offers superior comfort and protection. Once he gets used to it, he’ll likely find it comfortable. If he’s not satisfied within 30 days, we’ll provide a refund.

Why do the shorts cost so much?
Our shorts are high-quality, made in Toronto from custom fabrics, and feature patented technology. They’re built for maximum protection, not mass-market pricing. Like a Rolls Royce, they’re an investment in comfort and safety. We believe your health and legacy are worth it.

What is the NuttyBuddy® Guarantee?

Do the Lock Shorts have a pouch for the cup?
Nope—and that’s intentional. Our cup system is designed to work with three separate pieces. The shorts are your base layer, the jock goes over the shorts, and the cup slides securely between the two. It’s what makes NuttyBuddy work better than anything else.

Can I wear an NB cup in a pouch?
No, our cup should NOT be used with pouches. Pouches don’t hold the cup securely, risking injury. Our system, worn as intended, keeps the cup snug and moves with your body. The professional setup provides the best protection and comfort, as endorsed by our trademarked “Wear It Like A Pro®”.

Why does NuttyBuddy require a jock strap?

This is a long over due upgrade (I was still using an original nutty buddy ! ) now, don’t get me wrong, a direct hit his still gonna hurt some but the low profile anatomical fit and the short jock system means this is by far one of the lowest profile comfortable fits out there , the shape combined with the jock/short system means this moves with you beautifully regardless of what your doing with out need to readjust every few minutes .

We'd been trying to convince our son to upgrade his cup for a while. We bought several different options, but he disliked every one for one reason or another and always went back to his basic Shock Doctor. As a 14U travel lacrosse goalie, we knew he needed better protection. After he finally took a hard shot, another goalie parent recommended the Nutty Buddy—the same cup their son uses as a college goalie. We gave it a try, and it has been a huge success. No complaints at all. It provides excellent protection, it's comfortable, and most importantly, he actually wants to wear it. If you have a goalie who's reluctant to switch, this one is absolutely worth considering.

I’ve been a Nutty Buddy user for all of their 20 years. Mostly used in men’s league hockey and when I coach. Great product, very innovative when it came out and my go to since. My only issue is depth of cup. When the original cup was released it was deeper. Then when the strength ribs were added to the inside of the cup the depth was reduced. I understand the need for the strength in ribs as I cracked a cup taking a slap shot to it. I always felt the ribs should have been added to the outside of the cup and continue with the original depth or make it even deeper. I am using the XXL Mongo which is about the right size but I feel could be a bit bigger. Thank you. Great product, just giving some feedback, hope it helps.
